Independent Glass Association Announces Alliance with National Glass Exchange

The Independent Glass Association today announced a groundbreaking strategic alliance with the National Glass Exchange (NGE) that is assured to change the automotive glass claims industry.  NGE provides Windshield Protection Plans through insurance agencies.

The IGA has been selected as the warranty claims service program coordinator through its technology license agreement with the eDirectGlass ClaimsVerse platform.

“This is a very exciting day for the automotive glass repair and replacement industry. As more insurance policy holders select higher comprehensive deductibles on their automobile policy, the number of insurance glass claims is decreasing thus driving a very competitive cash market,” said Gary Hart, IGA executive director. “The plans offered by NGE are an opportunity for independent glass retailers to participate in a program where they will receive fair and reasonable compensation for the work they perform on claims for these plans.”
