Antonio Grieco will represent Italy during The International Master Fitter Competition 2010 at glasstec in Düsseldorf.

He triumphed during APVA’s Italian Master Fitter Competition at the Bologna Motor Show on 7 December 2009.

‘The finish was so close that the 10 professional judges even needed more time to conclude’ says Simona Viviani of Associazione Professionisti Vetri per Auto. ‘But finally the decision was made: Antonio Grieco no. 1, Alessandro Chinnici no. 2 and Marco Gilardino no. 3’. Pim de Ridder of International Automotive Glass Federation presented the corresponding awards. All 10 competitors could make use of similar white Fiat 500s to repair a windscreen and to replace a side window and the windscreen.

Antonio Grieco is the 1st mechanic of former European fitter champion Alessandro Di’dio.
