A total of 1,277 exhibitors offered innovations and new products for the sectors concerned in the exhibition halls, which were once again completely booked up.
The biennial duo has impressively confirmed its position with 498 exhibitors from 19 countries at HOLZ-HANDWERK, 779 exhibitors from 36 countries at fensterbau/frontale, and 100,000 visitors at both events together. The leading exhibiting nations after Germany were Austria and Italy at HOLZ-HANDWERK, and Italy, Poland, Turkey and Austria at fensterbau/frontale.
The supporting programme at the European trade fair for the wood crafts and the international trade fair for windows, doors and facades dealt with topical issues in an informative way. The programme covered a wide spectrum for various target groups, ranging from attracting newcomers to the trade to architectural matters. A new highlight was the video portal at www.holz-handwerk.tv with features, product demonstrations and interviews direct from the exhibition. All the contents of the portal are also available online at any time after the exhibition.

HOLZ-HANDWERK is organized byn VDMA Holzbearbeitungsmaschine (Woodworking Machinery Sector in VDMA) and NürnbergMesse GmbH. The co-sponsors of HOLZ-HANDWERK are the two associations, the Fachverband Schreinerhandwerk Bayern (FSH Bayern) and the Fachverband des Maschinen- und Werkzeug-Großhandels e.V. (FDM). The organizer of fensterbau/frontale is NürnbergMesse GmbH and the honorary sponsors are the German glass, window and facade associations: Fachverband Glas Fenster Fassade Baden-Württemberg, Landesinnungsverband des Glaserhandwerks Rheinland-Pfalz and Landesinnungsverband des Bayerischen Glaserhandwerks. fensterbau/frontale is also a founding member of the Global Fair Alliance of world-leading window exhibitions and is involved with ift Rosenheim in the International Strategic Partnership Fenestration.
Note the date! The next fensterbau/frontale and HOLZ-HANDWERK duo takes place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 26–29 March 2014.
