The Heraeus Photovoltaics Business Unit will be exhibiting its new SOL9600 Series of front-side metallization pastes at this year’s Intersolar Europe 2012 Exhibition in Munich, Germany June 13th - 15th.“The SOL9600 Series of pastes is a significant improvement over our SOL9235 and SOL9411 pastes.Along with higher efficiency, the SOL9600 Series provide customers with a much wider processing window due to its excellent uniformity in contact resistance on wafers with substantial variations in sheet resistance,” according to Andy London, Vice President of Heraeus Precious Metals LLC in West Conshohocken. The new Heraeus SOL9600 Series for conventional c-Si solar cells has demonstrated up to a 35% decrease in contact resistance on regular and high sheet emitter wafers and an absolute efficiency improvement of up to 0.3%. The wider processing window during firing, which provides a tighter production output distribution and improves yields.
The SOL9600 Series is ideal for applications requiring higher efficiency and finer line resolution printing.
