The continuing importance of the Glazing Summit is the reason Shelforce is sponsoring the event for the fourth year running.

The leading window and door manufacturer has been supporting the event since its inception in 2018.

Business Manager Howard Trotter said: “It’s vital to know what’s going on in our industry and the Glazing Summit provides that space to get together with industry peers in the supply chain and listen to them.

“It’s important to understand where we’re at as an industry now and where we’re going in the future and that’s why the Glazing Summit is becoming more and more important every year.”

“The last 18 months has taught us to be more agile in dealing with problems and that has been a positive and become a strength, and I’m looking forward to hearing how everyone has progressed this year.”

The 2022 Glazing Summit takes place on Tuesday, October 18 at Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre and after selling out last year, organisers are expecting to welcome around 400 industry leaders and decision makers this year as momentum builds.

Shelforce specialises in providing high-quality PVCu and aluminium products to local authority building projects and employs some of the city’s most vulnerable people, with 75% of its workforce disabled.

Andrew Scott, founder of the Glazing Summit and CEO, said: “Shelforce have backed the Glazing Summit since the beginning, and with their commitment to inclusive training and employment are leading the way in trying to tackle the skills shortage. We are delighted they are back on board for 2022.”
