Glass LLC, the first glass holding company in the Middle East and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC [DI], has announced that its coating lines, comprising subsidiaries Emirates Glass LLC [EGL] and Saudi American Glass [SAG], have won projects exceeding AED 140 million in the last quarter of 2013, amidst a sharp surge in construction and infrastructure projects across the GCC, Indian subcontinent and the region. During the period under review, the new orders include AED 50 million for projects in India, nearly AED 20 million for a railway station project in Saudi Arabia, approximately AED 20 million for projects in Turkey and Lebanon, and about AED 8 million for a Qatar-based project, among others.Read more here.
