Gerresheimer at Cosmopack Bologna: new flacon creations

Date: 18 March 2011

Gerresheimer manufactures artistic glass and plastic packaging products for the prestige and masstige segment and is one of the most sought after partners to the perfume and cosmetics industry.

Thanks to its expertise and know-how, the company can respond promptly to individual customer requirements and implement all aspects of the production process under one roof. The range of shapes, colors, surface finishes and materials is extremely diverse. Take a look at Gerresheimer’s latest flacon creations at Cosmopack Bologna, pavilion 19, stand C41/D42.

This is the first time that Gerresheimer will be presenting flacons it has created for celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Naomi Campbell, pop singers Christina Aguilera and Shakira, plus the sophisticated fragrance packagings for Mexx and S.T.Dupont, to an international public at Cosmopack.

The flacon specialist produced slimline bottles with brightly colored, fancy, anime-inspired images of Paris for Passport, the ‘it girl’s’ new trio of fragrances. The oval-shaped S by Shakira bottle has a silky, luminous surface and a radial base which underline the fragrance’s oriental character. Naomi, the fruity and sensuous fragrance by Proctor & Gamble, is presented in a tall slim bottle with feminine contours and stunning sparkle details. Gerresheimer produces the sleek and understated bottle for the Mexx Magnetic fragrance range. The relief engraved, raised letters of the MEXX brand name on the glass flacon provide it with exquisite haptic appeal. Pink and blue, round and rectangular – the Mexx Magnetic flacons appear to be magnetically attracted, representing the essence of attraction between man and woman. The Mexx Magnetic Woman flacon’s round design emphasizes the fragrance’s femininity. The color of the cool blue men’s fragrance shimmers through the glass, promising a captivating fragrance experience. Large, matte plastic closures reflect the Mexx Magnetic range’s contemporary appeal.

The graceful design of the Miss Dupont for S.T. Dupont fragrance again demonstrates the diversity of production lines available to Gerresheimer. This dynamically tapered, transparent glass bottle is adorned with fine Guilloché- inspired lines which reflect the fragrance’s ultra-feminine, floral-oriental bouquet. The flacon is crowned by an exclusive silver closure which continues the embossed lines of the bottle.
