Titled Proper Procedures for Fabricating Flat Glass Mirror, the GIB provides a list of helpful guidelines for fabricators.
“If you are a professional in this industry, this document is a must read,” said Jim Ventre of Vitro America and Chairman of GANA’s Mirror Division. “The information within is a great set of ideas to follow to prevent problems in the future when fabricating mirror.
The Mirror Division revisits this document periodically to insure that it keeps up with changes in our industry; therefore you get the added benefit of expertise from North American flat glass silverers.”
Since their original creation, GANA’s Glass Information Bulletins have been downloaded over a 350,000 times from the website at www.glasswebsite.com/techcenter. Visitors to the site’s TechCenter will be able to add this GIB to their library beginning today.
Fabricators are also encouraged to learn more helpful information about the industry by attending GANA’s Glass Fabrication & Glazing Educational Conference April 6‐8th in Cincinnati. Fabrication processes including insulating, laminating and tempering glass will be discussed, as well as project management for glazing contractors.
