Induction melting plants for special bronze for glass industry moulds

The new induction melting plants for bronze, of the Italian alloy and mould manufacturer Fonderie Bartalesi, have a melting capacity of bronze up to 750,000 kg per month. According to the company, all its alloys guarantee exact compliance with specifications thanks to rigid production and laboratory controls. The company is continuously working to improve the already high quality of bronze alloys produced, as well as decrease delivery times which are, at the moment, 7-10 days. Bronze has always been used in the making of moulds and their accessories for better take-out, improved thermal conductivity, and for a decisive and higher durability of moulds.

2001 represented for Fonderie Bartalesi an increase in turnover of 25% - a large part of this from foreign sales - now representing 30% of total company turnover.
Fonderie Bartalesi says that the quality of its alloys is, by now appreciated in all Europe, as the company regularly supplies important markets such as Germany and Spain.

In 2002 Fonderie Bartalesi participated at Mir Stekla in Russia and, in October, will be attending the glasstec event in Germany.
