The past 2 . years have been an excellent experience, working and getting acquainted with a group of very dedicated professionals within the industry. However, I have become aware that I need to find a better balance between immediate family and a young, growing business. It has been my special pleasure to participate in the creation of our own Ottawa office. Robert Rivard, Executive Director, and his team have made a significant impact and did an excellent job organizing the AGM in Winnipeg. I intend to make ongoing efforts to continue to give back through continued involvement as the importance of the Fenestration Canada continues to grow.”
“Al’s dedication and persistent support of the association as an Officer will be missed” says Skip MacLean, (Tru Tech Doors – Vaughan, ON) and President of Fenestration Canada. “We wish him well in his future endeavors as he focusses on family and business issues”.
The Executive committee has appointed Mr. Greg Dickie of Atlantic Windows Ltd. based in Port Elgin N.B. to replace Al as 1st Vice-President. Greg has been a supportive board member for several years and currently serves as Chairman of the association’s Canadian Code Compliance Committee. “We are very pleased to welcome Greg to the Executive and look forward to his fresh approach and energetic contribution to the association” says Yvan Houle, (Portes et Fenêtres Président Inc. – Longueil, QC) who serves as the immediate Past President and chairman of the Nominating Committee.
Continuing to serve on the Executive are: Allan Doyle of Global Windows and Doors, Richibucto, N.B. as 2nd Vice-President and Kevin Pelley, Kohltech International Ltd., Debert, NS who serves as Treasurer for the association.
