Excitement builds for Gala Dinner secret guest speaker

After a long day networking and listening to a range of outstanding keynote speakers, attendees at the Glazing Summit can be forgiven for letting their hair down at the event’s evening Gala Dinner.

Held in the Banqueting Suite at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, the Gala Dinner, which is sponsored by leading uPVC systems companies VEKA, features a champagne drinks’ reception, three-course gala dinner, wine on the table and private bar.

The undoubted highlight, however, is the guest speaker, and while organisers are keeping the identity of this year’s special guest a closely guarded secret, past speakers have provided attendees with thought-provoking, inspiring and often funny lessons in both business and life.

Previous speakers have included Olympic athletes Kriss Akabusi and Roger Black, along with businessman Gerald Ratner – and all have inspired in equal measure.

So, who will be this year’s guest, and will he or she step up to the mark as previous speakers have done? Andrew Scott, CEO and Glazing Summit founder, is remaining tight-lipped.
