After a long day networking and listening to a range of outstanding keynote speakers, attendees at the Glazing Summit can be forgiven for letting their hair down at the event’s evening Gala Dinner.

Held in the Banqueting Suite at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, the Gala Dinner, which is sponsored by leading uPVC systems companies VEKA, features a champagne drinks’ reception, three-course gala dinner, wine on the table and private bar.

The undoubted highlight, however, is the guest speaker, and while organisers are keeping the identity of this year’s special guest a closely guarded secret, past speakers have provided attendees with thought-provoking, inspiring and often funny lessons in both business and life.

Previous speakers have included Olympic athletes Kriss Akabusi and Roger Black, along with businessman Gerald Ratner – and all have inspired in equal measure.

So, who will be this year’s guest, and will he or she step up to the mark as previous speakers have done? Andrew Scott, CEO and Glazing Summit founder, is remaining tight-lipped.

“Since this event started we’ve had consistently great guest speakers for the Gala Dinner and this year will be no exception,” he said. “We will be announcing the speaker in due course. In the meantime, make sure you don’t miss out on this excellent get-together of all the main players from the glazing industry by securing your ticket now.”

The Glazing Summit is the leading one-day conference for the fenestration industry, bringing together business owners, directors and senior management from across the entire industry for a day packed with debate and discussion on the biggest issues the industry is facing and networking.

This year’s event will be held on Thursday, October 12 at Edgbaston Stadium. For more information and tickets please visit the event’s dedicated website, https://glazingsummit.co.uk/

Delegates are welcome to attend the Glazing Summit, the Gala Dinner or both, but spaces are limited. For tickets, visit www.glazingsummit.co.uk, call 01934 808293 or email hello@glazingsummit.co.uk.
