EWFA releases video on the association and its activities

Date: 13 March 2014

EWFA is pleased with the release of its second video which focuses on the association, its members, and the work carried out to defend and promote the Window Film industry in Europe.   Established in 2000, the association has grown in size and scope over the years.

It now gathers the industry's leading manufacturers and distributors from all over Europe. During its initial years, EWFA focused its activities on automotive legislation. In many countries, the use of Window Film in vehicles was simply not allowed or subject to difficult approval processes. Thanks to multiple efforts from both members and staff, Window Film is nowadays a widely adopted technology in the automotive sector in Europe. In recent years, the association has been more active in the building sector, promoting the capabilities of Window Film in improving the energy efficiency of the European building stock.

Hans Craen, EWFA Secretary General stated: “With this video we hope companies and organisations not yet associated with EWFA can have a better understanding of the important work the association carries out in Europe to the benefit of the whole industry. Our objectives are to continue to reach and influence a wider audience, increasing the awareness of Window Film’s role in lowering energy costs and improving customer wellbeing."
