Emirates Glass to Showcase Eco Home Solutions at World Future Energy Summit 2013

Emirates Glass LLC ( EGL ), one of the region's leading processors of energy efficient architectural flat glass products and a subsidiary of Glass LLC, has been selected as the exclusive provider of glass for the unique Estidama-compliant Home initiative, a real size, three-dimensional walk-in house that will be launched at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) in Abu Dhabi on 15 January, 2013. As part of this participation, Emirates Glass will showcase its range of high performance glass products for sustainable residential and commercial buildings such as the Emicool® E-Lite Series and Emicool® Sun NN Series.


On display during WFES 2013, the eco home will feature environmentally-friendly elements that comply with Estidama, the sustainable building and construction standards authority in Abu Dhabi. Set up in the Sustainable Living Area at the WFES 2013 exhibition, the initiative will bring together pioneering companies from around the world to highlight their latest green solutions, products, services and technologies currently available in the market for pro-active end-users, consumers and developers.

In addition to its showcase in the prototype sustainable house, Emirates Glass will spotlight its products at a dedicated stand at the WFES exhibition (stand no. TXP-2). Senior executives will be on hand to offer expertise on the range of post-temperable glass that offers multifunctional utilities, including light transmission, solar control and thermal insulation.

The world's foremost annual event, dedicated to advancing future energy, energy efficiency and clean technologies, WFES 2013 is set to host 153 expert speakers and bring together more than 30,000 delegates including 53 official delegations and 623 exhibitors.
