Charmline has a chemically-treated outer surface with a beautiful distinctive translucent finish which can greatly enhance the aesthetic appearance of architectural glass facades.Mr.Jerry Dowling, General Manager, Emirates Glass, said: This new product adds another significant feature to our existing product line. Currently, we offer our EmiCool range of energy-efficient solar-control glass in various ranges to suit the needs of the market in terms of performance and appearance. We are sure that the attractive and unique features of Charmline will elevate and strengthen our status as a major international player in the glass industry.
Charmline glass is an ideal choice for spandrel glazing where there is an aesthetic requirement to provide a material in contrast to the vision glazing. The Charmline is scratch-proof, does not attract dust and provides a fine elegant satin finish. In window-glazing, Charmline can be installed as a sun-breaker to diffuse solar glare or it can be used internally in partitions to give privacy with light.
We see good market opportunities for Charmline as a new medium for aesthetic expression in building facades, remarked Mr. Dowling. In addition to a good range of colours extra clear, clear, green, blue, bronze, grey and pink it is the easy-to-clean feature of Charmline which makes it so attractive. The unique surface treatment of Charmline does not attract dirt, but any small dust accumulation can be easily removed with clean water and nothing more. It is very easy to maintain! he said.
The EmiCool range of high-performance sputter-coated reflective glass is available in a huge range of coating of coating and tint-options to create a true rainbow-range which is capable of meeting the requirements of almost every architectural style and building-type throughout the Gulf region and indeed far beyond into Europe and Asia. EmiCool glass has been used on a multitude of the largest projects throughout the UAE and the introduction of Charmline by Emirates Glass presents new opportunities in glazing to further satisfy a growing demand from architects and developers for innovative and attractive glass products to enhance their designs.
