EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — When Scott Summers’ father ran the Twin Glass Co. on Baton Rouge Avenue in Ventnor, he seldom went off Absecon Island for work, Summers said.

His father told him to never go farther than the Hamilton Mall for a job.



But now the showroom is on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, and Twin Glass has installed storefront windows from Turnersville to Jackson to Devon, Pa., said Summers, the third-generation owner of the company.



“That’s where the work is,” Summers said. “We’ve built relationships with people who build outside this area.”



Of course, he does local jobs, too.
