EDUARD KRONENBERG GmbH at the Glasstec 2002: -Worldwide leading manufacturer of steel-connectors for the glass-industry-Stamped and punched components made of steel and non-ferrous metals-Traditionally based in Solingen/Germany with 135 years experience in treating steel(Solingen, 09/2002).

As the worlds leading manufacturer of steel-connectors, the EDUARD KRONENBERG GmbH works as a strategic partner and distributor for the insulating-glass-, the electronic-, the automotive and the systems-industry national and international. Besides certification according ISO TS 16949 standard, numerous patents and patented designs show the creativity and professionalism of the in 1867 founded traditional company from Solingen.

Latest example for the high standard developments of the EDUARD KRONENBERG GmbH is the „series 3 connector with mid-rest“ - the latest generation of EK steel-connectors.
The small mid rest combines the advantages of a safe and firm finding of the spacer bar middle/center, as well as extreme stability – all in one small detail. The series 3 connector itself has grown to an international product highlight in the range of steel connecting elements and sets absolutely new standards with its „tabs located in different heights“.

A true renaissance is also experienced by our corner keys with the coming up of special spacer bars, e.g. profiles for inside the IG unit shadowing systems, WarmEdge-profiles made of steel and plastic, as well as fire resistant IG units. Due to the many product-advantages, such as stability, easy handling and lasting hold, the steel corner keys made of carbon steel (C60) for the profile sizes 5 to 27 mm are hard to imagine not to be part of the EDUARD KRONENBERG GmbH product range.

One more important glasstec-subject for EK is the global protection of the atmosphere. In course of the European „Energie-Einsparverordnung“ (EnEV = Ecological energy reduction program) this is especially important for the edge seal. With the aim to waste less heat, materials with less reaction can in the meantime be sawed, bent and therefore be used as a spacer frame. The problem here is: The more complicated and the more thin walled the structure of the edge seal – the higher are the demands of the connecting element. Providing the solution for such problems is one of the strengths of EK.

More highlights and new developments will be presented by the EDUARD KRONENBERG GmbH during the glasstec show 2002 on our stand B60 in hall 15.
