Coating Leader Announces New Manager for MetoKote's John Deere and Company Business

Shari will be based in Swisher, Iowa.



Ms. Barta earned her B.A. in Business from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.



Prior to joining MetoKote, Ms. Barta worked with Exide Technologies as Director for Heavy Duty Off Road OE Sales. One of her key responsibilities with Exide was management of the company’s Deere business. She has also worked with Deere and Company in Moline, Illinois in various capacities.



MetoKote Corporation, headquartered in Lima, Ohio, is the industry leader in protective coating applications including electrocoating (e-coat), powder coating and liquid paint. The company serves over 1,000 customers in 40 facilities throughout the United States and the world. John Deere and MetoKote started their relationship in 1991 in a new compact utility tractor plant in Augusta, Georgia. MetoKote installed and still manages the coating application equipment inside this Deere facility. Over the years, MetoKote’s association with Deere has grown to provide coating services for over a dozen different Deere facilities throughout North America.
