BeerX, the annual conference of SIBA, the Society of Independent Brewers, takes place from 11th to 15th March at Ice Sheffield, just a few miles from Beatson Clark’s factory in nearby Rotherham.Beatson Clark will be exhibiting at the event for the first time on 12th and 13th March. The company manufactures bottles for breweries including Sam Smiths, Robinson’s, Meantime and Brooklyn Brewery in New York.
It will be exhibiting a number of new bespoke and standard beer bottles and explaining how it can offer bespoke packaging at a reduced cost.
“This will be our first appearance at BeerX and we’re really looking forward to speaking to the breweries and showing them the wide range of beer bottles we offer,” said Charlotte Taylor, Marketing Manager at Beatson Clark.
“Our in-house design team can create bespoke bottles for customers, but if budgets are tight or production volumes are too low to justify a completely new design we can also add embossing to a standard design to create a unique bottle.
“The possibilities are endless and we would urge breweries to talk to us about how we can add value and really make their beers stand out on shelf.”
BeerX also features the SIBA AGM, seminars on brewing, the National Brewing Awards and the Brewing Business Awards.
Speakers will include:
• Nicky Morgan MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury
• Tim Martin, founder of JD Wetherspoon
• Dr Charlie Bamforth, from University of California, Davis
• Steve Grossman from the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company
