Cardinal Glass in Durant says their business is booming. They currently employ about 300 people mostly from Durant, Sherman and Denison, and they're looking for more.
A slow down in the economy hasn't caused the Cardinal Glass plant in Durant to slow down. Each day the plant manufactures 600 tons of flat glass for windows.
Plant manager Wayne McAtee says one of their national competitors, agc, has scaled back their production of glass, which has kept them afloat. Plus, they've increased business by manufacturing energy-friendly products.
