The British Glass Conference and Members’ Day

Date: 2 May 2012

The British Glass Conference and Members’ Day is to be held this year on 18th May at the London Marriott Heathrow Hotel, and the British Glass Health and Safety Conference is taking place on 3rd May in Stoke on Trent.

Glass manufacturers from all sectors around the globe will be attneding the British Glass Conference and Members’ Day, which is aimed at providing quality updates on the industry and stimulating debate. There is a balance of informative presentation, discussion and those all-important networking opportunities, including a first class, black tie dinner and entertainment in the evening to which partners and guests are invited.

The glass industry’s annual Health and Safety Conference is quickly approaching too – held on Thursday, 3rd May 2012 in Stoke on Trent – so don’t miss your chance to attend this important event and hear about the very latest changes in health and safety. Featuring guest speakers from the HSE board, Health and Safety Laboratory, Eversheds LLP, Sovereign Risk Solutions as well as the personal testimony of Jen Deeney who will explain first-hand the consequences of a workplace fatality. The event is not to be missed and will provide thought-provoking, informative and important information to delegates across the glass industry. Please see the “Conference Agenda and Speakers” attachment for full details.

We really hope you will be able to join us at one of these (or both!) exciting events. If you cannot attend yourself, you are welcome to send a colleague, and please feel free to pass details on to anyone you feel may be interested in attending.
