As part of the Business Program of the 3rd Forum, Building Skin Russia 2019 / Window Days in Russia, which will take place on February 26-27, StekloSouz of Russia traditionally holds one of the most relevant events for the glass industry.

Last year's event attracted a large number of participants. The unique platform, which is the Forum, allows to unite the joint interests of science, manufacturers of materials, products and designs based on glass, architects. Designers, builders, business leaders, technologists and experts.

The range of glass products is constantly updated, becoming more popular, modern and high-tech. Accordingly, technologies, equipment and components are being improved.

A joint discussion by the professional community of topical issues will allow sharing experience, finding optimal solutions, determining a development vector and organizing mutually beneficial cooperation.

StekloSouz Section "Translucent structures. Past, Present and Future ”will take place on February 27, beginning at 10-00, Moscow in Danilovsky EventHALL.

The event will be attended by architects, designers, developers, developers, construction organizations, manufacturers of facade structures, manufacturers of sheet and architectural glass, industrial glass processing enterprises, leading scientific organizations, technical committees for standardization, manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, components and materials .

The purpose of the event: The organization of systemic interaction between glass manufacturers and glass-based structures and consumers. Joint discussion will serve to expand the scope of glass in construction and increase production and use of products and structures based on glass.

Glass is a unique material, but architects, designers, builders and consumers do not always know about all the possibilities that this material provides and how to use it correctly.

In addition, the innovative development of the industry allows us to offer new, more modern types of glass to consumers: tempered and beaded glass of large formats, glass with new types of coatings, high-transparent and high-strength glass, glass with ceramic printing, safety and fire-resistant glass, electrochromic, electrically heated and many other types glass products.

The use of glass in the internal space of buildings is actively developing; these are glass partitions, glass floors and ceilings, glass stairs, bathrooms and showers.

Given the tendency to use large-sized glass products and structures, technologies and equipment for the safe installation of glass become important. Modern glass products are structural materials, including bearing and interfloor structures.

The most up-to-date information of the glass industry will be presented by the “Research Institute of Building Physics of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences” (NIISF RAACS); JSC "Institute of Glass" and the Technical Committee for Standardization TC 41 "Glass", subcommittee PC 24 "Window, door and door blocks.
