Şişecam, a global player in the glass and chemicals industries, kicked off the seventh term of its Global Young Talent Program "Together".

This year, 5,364 students from 34 different universities applied to the program. A total of 152 long-term interns were selected to work for seven months in various units of Şişecam, including production, supply chain, quality, sales and R&D. The Together program will continue until October. Interns who successfully complete the seventh edition of the program will receive preferential consideration for permanent employment opportunities at Şişecam.

The Together selection process was completed after various steps, including a simulation game, an English language skills exam, video interviews and manager interviews. A comprehensive evaluation is conducted of students from various university departments, such as industry, machinery, chemistry, metallurgy and materials, electrical and electronics engineering, as well as business, chemistry and economics. The seven-month Together internship period started at the end of February. During the program, interns have the opportunity to get to know Şişecam culture closely and shape their careers. Together interns have a wide range of self-improvement options available, including trainings, technical trips, inspiring interviews, case studies, project presentations and department sessions.

The Together program creates the opportunity for students to start their business careers in a well-established organization, once again revealing the value Şişecam attaches to young talent. To date, 1,167 interns worldwide have participated in Şişecam's Together program. After completing their internship period, 467 Together participants started working full-time at Şişecam.
