I am doing some research for an article I am writing. I want to compare the relative and absolute amounts of materials manufactured using minerals/ores extracted from the crust (for example, steel, aluminium, cement, aggregate, glass, etc). I have not been able to find recent data for the amount of glass manufactured annually. I need a global figure, rather than a national figure. Can anyone help or suggest a reference.
