I see a lot of comments here how great resin is compared to PVB:
lower cost
easier to use
higher clarity
no bubbles
no delamination
long shelf life
no yellowing
etc...
Why does anyone use PVB? Are there any advantages of using PVB compared to resin?

I think you have your facts backwards resin is an inferior product to PVB. Resin yellows delaminates and will shear right off if broken. Use PVB if you want the job done right with no call backs.
