Is it Safety Glass?

I've got an older dual-glaze single-light entry door, age unknown. I don't see a safety glass logo. Is there any way to tell if it is safety glass? Did the use of safety glass in entry doors predate dual-glazing of doors?

Just coat it with 4 mil window film and you'll be 100% sure you have a safety glass.

And if you do it on both sides you can be 200% sure. How thick is the glass? Is it an exposed edge setup? The statement "dual-glaze single-light entry door" sounds like it is laminated. More info please.
