How to recognize tempered glass?

Hi,

I am I house owner and I would like to know how can I be sure that the purchased glass is really a safety tempered glass? Is it possible to distinguish a normal glass from tempered glass just by look?

Tempered glass will have a logo sandblasted into it stating its saftey rating. Check in one of the corners

I have checked the glass and I have found a sign on the upper right angle. Thank you for your help.
