I am particularly thrilled to continue the work already engaged in Glass for Europe to ensure the future position of the flat glass industry in a climate neutral Europe. I know the responsibilities which are ours: to look for all opportunities to decarbonize our industrial processes while staying competitive. Europe’s flat glass manufacturing sector shall continue leading the way.”

Bertrand Cazes, Secretary General of Glass for Europe, welcomed the new Chairwoman whose mandate starts while Europe is confronted with an unprecedented energy crisis endangering the industry.
