The façade of the ARBURG branch in Münsingen proves that something doesn't always have to be new to shine.

It was refurbished to optimise energy efficiency and brought up to date with the installation of new glass.

The result is impressive: The building shines with a timeless look and a high-quality building envelope that looks modern yet down-to-earth.

Arburg, the well-known manufacturer of machines for plastics production, commissioned H+R Architekten with the remodeling of its Swiss address, placing its trust in an experienced partner. Glas Trösch came into play for the glass supply and delivered its high-end product SUPERSELEKT35/14T.

The triple silver coating combines maximum solar control with solid light transmission and thus achieves a first-class selectivity ratio.

In addition to the technical advantages, the new coating design also has a strong "street appeal", i.e. the external appearance of the glass. The low external reflection and the subtle blue colour of the glass make it visually unobtrusive.
